Last day at Dove Creek Gardens

Today was my last day @ Mikes nursery. It is sooooo hot here, and with the humidity it was almost unbearable. We took lots of breaks as it was 104F in the building where we work and even hotter in the greenhouses themselves.
I will miss Mike & Jen but I won't miss this heat.
Nancy is improving every day. She has a doctors appt @ Vanderbilt on Monday.
Hopefully, the doctor will be happy with the amount of swelling still in her mouth, and remove the feeding tube & trach.
Her face is almost as small as it was before surgery and she does talk. The swelling in her mouth is such that she talks like she has a mouthful of food, but she is talking around the trach.
The feeding tube is the one that is used in the hospital, and therefore it is such a position that she cannot feed herself. She needs someone else to feed her and give her her meds, so Mike will be happy to get those removed as well as Nancy.
We are giving the rig a bath on Saturday after I move it to the driveway. It is sitting between trees on bare dirt, so I will wash it when it is on concrete.
Jennifer was kind enough to lend her carpet cleaner to us. The carpets need a good cleaning.
The rig will look brand new when we leave with clean carpets and a good bath.
We have had no appreciable amount of rain here for the last couple of months, so I will be able to move it without too much difficulty.
Looking forward to getting on the road again.

We're delighted to hear that Nancy is doing so well. Give her our best. Good luck getting the rig all cleaned up. It's a big job. Be careful out there on the road. I don't think it's going to get too much cooler until you leave Ohio. It's been hot all over. I know we're in for it in Florida but we'll just have to do our best putting up with it.

Rick has been an unbelievable help with this year's success at Dove Creek Gardens! Jennifer and I thoroughly enjoyed his cheerful, "go getter" attitude along with the fun of working together at the nursery and several trade shows. Rick is a natural salesman. He was a big hit at the Master Gardener's Spring Fling in March and the Memphis Botanic Gardens Spring Plant Sale.
We all know that Rick and Brenda love the open road and the opportunities to meet new people and see new places, but we hope that they will come back and make our next year at Dove Creek Gardens as fun as this year. And besides, Rick is a cool bro!
