Time getting short here

We have begun our last week at Timber Ridge. We head to Rockport on Monday. We have enjoyed our time here, but it is time to move on. We will miss some of the monthly guests here, especially Mike & Sally.
Speaking of Mike & Sally, we have played 'pegs & jokers at least once a week and Sally must have left her luck in Michigan. Mike & I have beat her & Brenda regularly since they have been here. We have had such a good time with them.

Last Saturday, Ted & Donna came by for lunch and to say goodbye. We don't know when we will see them again as we are not sure if we are returning to Texas next year.
They left for Michigan on Sunday. They are driving up with a stop in Cincinnati.
We have become really good friends with them. We had a great trip last summer.
They enjoyed their new trailer while in the RGV. They did not take the trailer up to Michigan, as they have a place to stay while there. And, this time of year with the weather so iffy, they didn't want to take a chance towing it.

Camperland is supposed to come tomorrow and fix the front jack. I called last Friday and asked when they would be putting on the jack and was told that the jack would be here the 1st or 2nd of March. I told her that that was not acceptable as we were not going to be here then and to find out why the jack wasn't here yet. She called back and said it would be here by today and installed tomorrow.

We are going over to Lizzie's tonight for dinner. She really is such a sweet person. It will be just the 4 of us. She wants to play Mexican Train or Chicken foot. She is so busy with her kids and working, that she likes the distraction of mindless games once in a while.

Sunday will be our last time at St. Edwards church and breakfast with our family this trip.
That is one of the little pleasures in life, breakfast with my siblings.
We enjoy the company and conversation, as usually this is the only time we can get together as a group during the week. Tony is not a blood relative, but a brother just the same.
Linda is a good person and we love her as a sister.

It will be good to get back to Memphis again. We have missed our family and it will be good to see them again.
We are also looking forward to the Breakfast club after church. A nicer bunch of people you would not meet anywhere.

Ta ta for now.

I'm sorry to hear that you may not return to Texas next year. :-(

I hope your travels will be fun and safe and the lure of the great state of Texas will bring you back soon.
