Our first golf outing

Yesterday, Mike, Alan and I went to Glen eagle golf course and played my first round of golf since returning to Memphis. Mike and Alan had played before we came back this year.
We had a great time and the course is great. It is the old Naval Base golf course that is now open to the public. The fairways and greens are in immaculate shape.
I could tell it had been 11 months since I had played. I was pretty bad. But, the company was really good. And the weather was spectacular.

Our annual May golf outing is canceled this year, due to Nancy's health. Mike won't go and leave Nancy for a week and the rest of us just don't want to do it without him. We just don't feel that it would be the same. There is always next year.

Nancy's oldest sister, Marilyn, will be here today. It will be nice to meet her. She is from Cincinnati and if I heard correctly she will be here for a week.
Dana, Nancy's daughter is here every day and helps Mike with her care. It is nice for Mike to have some help.

We are in our busy time at the nursery. We ship to a new zone on Sunday and the orders have been coming in all winter and spring. It will be a busy day for all 4 of us.
We ship via the USPS, and on Mondays the postal carrier is very busy with shipment. The post office picks up the packages as part of the service.

Alan is off all of this week, so he and I will work tomorrow. There is always allot to do, so we will be busy all day.

Ta ta for now.

Maybe Marilyn is bringing some Skyline Chili for you to enjoy ... or LaRosa's pizza ... or UDF malt ... or Graeter's ice cream ... or goetta ... or turtle soup. Does it appear I go home only to eat???
